UNIT DESCRIPTIONd This unit covers the competencies required to manage design and
construction of uniforms. It involves planning for design and construction of uniforms,
designing, sketching and illustrating selected uniforms, constructing and cutting the garment
pattern pieces. It also entails laying and cutting garment pattern pieces, constructing the garment
, finishing, accessorizing and displaying the garment.
